In their most regularly traded format, indices bring together specific stocks, which are then also tradable as a group entity. Some of these indices are world-famous, with a range of international investors watching their every move. Others are somewhat smaller, focussing on a specific financial sector, or businesses from a single country instead of multiple ones.
ETX Capital traders have access to a number of different indices on which they can trade, including the SP500, UK100, Wall Street and Germany 30. See below for some indicative pricing examples for indices.
Spreads will vary based on market conditions, including volatility, available liquidity, and other factors. “Typical” spreads for noted pairs represent the median and are tracked during a specified time frame.
